I found this on another forum a few days ago, tried it, and thought I'd share:

Tools: 1 scissors
Items: length of airline tubing, suction cup, airline connector

Instructions:
Cut desired length of airline tubing.

Attach ends together with airline connector.

Attach suction cup.

Attach to tank wall.

Feeder in use.

Very nice. Much cheaper than the ready made store brands, I'm sure

My fish eat everything so fast I need no ring

Great post - Thanks!

My discus & angels are really fast, too...but I'm going to give that a try.

Not a problem! My fish eat alot of floating pellets, and the pellets are caught in the current alot. Makes for a messy tank and cleanup is a PITA. I had been wanting a feeding ring, and thought that the premades were too expensive, especially when I needed more than one.

I made 3 of these in just a few minutes and had everything on-hand.
