Sooooo...someone of you know about my current situation. Well, I had a spiffy job interview today! I should be getting a call back tomorrow for a follow up interview. The woman that interviewed me today said that she liked everything she saw in my resume, and that she is looking to hire someone like me, but the hiring decisions are not 100% hers, and that if they were, she would have hired me on the spot. The job has everything that I am looking for: hours, pay, benefits, environment, and such.I should be getting another phone call from them tomorrow to go back in for another interview with the person that will be making the decision on whether or not I will be hired.

Secondly, I am having a sheepy time finding moving boxes. I have looked at at least 3 different grocery stores, and they have no boxes. As you locals know, it has been raining here off and on for the last week or so, so the boxes out in the recycle dumpster bins would be unusable. So, here's my plea for moving boxes! I am supposed to be moving this weekend, and the only things that I have been able to pack are what I can transport in trash bags and containers and boxes I already had on hand.

The kid is registered in school, school supplies bought, and her daddy is taking her clothes shopping when he gets back in town this weekend (I just hope he picks out clothes that match), and he is watching her while I move.

That's just about all of it in a nutshell...

Yes it is, Gary. Just trying my best to make sure everything gets taken care of in a timely manner: divorce, moving, my daughter's first year of school, finding a job, after school care, and everything that goes along with it. Life is fuuuuuuuun!!!!!! The strange thing is: I am worried about the transport of my shrimp and fish over anything else. I'm not obsessed or anything...I swear.

I am now just about 100% moved into my new place. I LOVE the new apartment! It's much nicer and cleaner and overall BETTER than the last place. I've already met a few neighbors and made a few new friends. My next door neighbor has a salt water and a fresh water tank. Wink And my other new neighbor/friend has a pet rat. (I HAD 7 pet rats, but that's another story). My daughter has also made new friends that are about her age, and she's started Kindergarten.

So...now all I have to do now is to get a decent paying job so I can keep it all.

It's a job to pay the bills, but at the same time, it's a job that I was looking for: brainless. A parrot could do it if it had fingers. It's a job in customer service in a call center.

LOL Maybe one day, but since I am living on my own and supporting my daughter nearly soley on my own, I'll be paying bills and putting food on the table. You know: Grown-up stuff. I am starting a tank upgrade fund so I can save for a 75 or 125 gallon. So, no more tanks or anything unless it's the 75 or 125 gallon. I'll just be buying things to maintain the 4 tanks that I have now. I even passed up a darn good deal on red claw macro shrimp. It was VERY tempting, but I don't have any where that I could have setup an appropriate tank for them. I've sold most of my "extra" aquarium stuff, most of my empty tanks, and other equipment, and I am still selling off a few animals. That's all part of me stream-lining my home and my life because I won't have as much time to take care of everything by myself.
