I recently set up my old 55 Angel fry tank as a Bristlenose tank. I wasn't sure how I'd like it - but Man I LOVE this tank now. I spend almost as much time in front of it as I do watching the Discus.

Here are some pics of what lives & lurks in the tank...

A longfin BN fry (after a big meal obviously)

And another...with a cool reflection off the glass:

The Big Daddy ABN...nice 'stache.

My mature female sharing some zuchinni with one of the babies:

A Spixie (Zebra Apple) Snail...

And some Spixie Eggs:

Baby ABN on the sponge filter:

And some shrimp pics:

The female ABN is all fat with eggs. I just added the male recently. There's a lot of flirting going on, but no spawns so far. Hopefully as they settle in & get used to each other, I'll have some fry pics soon.

Thanks. The funny thing is I take them with a 4 year old crappy 2 megapixel camera. Thank God for the Macro setting.

Nice pics, Gary!

*ahem* When are you picking up that Java moss?

Just as a tip: If you don't have a macro setting on your camera, you can hold a magnifying glass in front of the lens. Works great for taking pics of dwarf shrimp.

LOL Happy belated birthday! You also share my daughter's birthday.

I knew that about Anne Rice. I learned it not long after my daughter was born, which I thought was waaay cool. Very Happy
I think I share a birthday with Dr. Seuss.
