I did stop in Too Many Feathers pet shop today. Big store and had potential but needs alot of work. As far as cichlids go, Um....... I seen a few. Nothing worth mentioning tho.

too many feathers have a good stock?
Not yet. They're working on expanding their fish inventory. I know they're doing a lot of research, so i think it could potentially be a very nice fish store.

good to hear! Cichlids are nice (well i only like SA/CA's) but oddballs are my passion. Maybe i'll stop into too many feathers and see if they can order in some oddballs. I'm sure if i introduce them to rehoboth aquatics (

The two times I was in Too Many Feathers I was horrified. Everything alive was filthy, underfed, and the whole store stank of just plain yuck. It's been a few months since I have been in there, but I may stop in sometime in the near future to see if anything has changed.
I have no favorite LPS or LFS in the Omaha and surrounding areas. I've listed my likes and dislikes (more dislikes it seems) countless times, so I will save myself the rant.
If I were in NE on a more permanent basis, I would consider opening my own shop that catered to the more advanced fishkeepers, but I am sticking to online sources and those locals who are pleasant to deal with.

there are quite a few british fish keepers on that forum and if there is a good LFS you hear about it quite a lot. Amazing store from the pictures i've seen, you are very lucky!

On the Too Many Feathers store. I sold them a couple dozen 3 inch ABN and called them a few days later and heard this "they're too small" I thought that these fish were certainly large enough to almost be called young adults and to hear that from them. Well, I haven't been back. I told them over the phone what they were and how large they got and water conditions, diet, etc etc but in one ear and out the other.
