Here are a few pics of my 30 gallon long. This is the largest tank that I have had, and it looks like a puddle compared to some of the tanks I've seen on here. If I had some of the monsters I've seen here, the floor of my apartment would collapse! LOL

Any way, I've tried to stick with a SE Asian Biotope. This tank is also my first attempt with plants, a biotope, and all the other things that go with it. I have an AquaClear 50 modified with a sponge on the intake and a DIY water deflector, Hydor Theo 150W heater, DIY CO2, 96W Compact Flourescent light, 80 lbs. of Eco-Compelete, and Seachem Ferts. The stock is a golden wonder killifish trio, Paradise fish pair, SAE, female betta splendens (I am thinking about moving them to another tank, they don't really fit with the biotope), and loads of MTS. I am looking for another SAE. The plants are water wisteria, V. spiralis, different crypts, sunset hygro, and a few that I can't think of the names right now. There's a driftwood pile in the right side under the filter's current for the Singapore shrimp (that I had to move out due to the need for medicating for now). I have 4 female and 1 male Singapore shrimp.

So, here's my itty-bitty camera phone pics. The "real" camera is on a "trip" out of the country right now, so bear with me!

Male Singapore shrimp under driftwood; female is in lower left corner with a blue female betta:

The 30 gallon and two 10 gallons:

My SAE:

The driftwood pile:

Male Paradise fish (Sorry for the blur, he's always on the move):

30 gallon again:

I'll try to get some better pics. Alot of the plants are recouping after I was without a light bulb for several weeks. (That was partly thanks to a certain somewhere that's slack on special orders.)

Yes, but I need some help with that. How do I enlarge them? Photobucket will only let me reduce images.

They have several programs. By far the best for what you want to do is PhotoPlus.

If you need help installing or using it shoot me a PM & I can help you.

Nice Anne.

Hey - that avatar looks cool. What is it exactly & do you have a larger pic of it? I'm curious!

Also...did you ever download that software?

My avatar is a pic of my night light in my hall bathroom. When you turn off the light in the bathroom, it lights up with LEDs that change colors.

I did download the software, but I have been busy with watching season 4 of Smallville and spending some time with my daughter. I'll try to get some pics tonight or tomorrow during water changes.

I'll have to keep that in mind. I would like to at least try. Since yesterday, the male's been making a bubble nest and courting the female, but I am not ready to set up a spawn tank for them at the moment.

LOL...Thanks! I have been thinking about adding a canopy because of the light fixture--kind of blinding, and I want to add lunar lights on it. I also really want to get a nice piece of Malaysian driftwood for it. Right now I only have little pieces of driftwood sort of piled up for hiding places for the fish.
