Last night, I noticed just one baby bee shrimp. My berried female had been carrying her batch of eggs for what seemed like an eternity. Today I have counted 11 babies! Very Happy

For those of you who don't know, bee shrimp are the shrimp that CRS (crystal red shrimp) were created from. In other words: bee shrimp are the natural coloration/form of CRS.

HA! If I had a proper camera with a really good macro setting, I would post pics, but these guys are super tiny. They look to be a little smaller than RCS babies. We're talking about 2 mm long per baby. My "lovely" camera phone can't even focus on the adults. I'll have to bug a friend of mine to borrow her camera.

She should be home here in a bit, and I will run over to her apartment to ask her.

Still looking for those pics....

I'm finding shrimp more and more interesting lately for some reason. I just have a handfull of CRS but they're cool little buggers.

I just returned from her place, and I realized that I didn't ask to borrow her camera. I was distracted by her annoying sister and "Jingle All the Way" was on.

I'll try to get some pics from an online source to give you guys an idea of what kind of shrimp I have.

Gary: What grade are your's? I have one male CRS that I house with the bees. He's the only one out of four CRS that made it to my new place.
