I am excited about my job interview next week! This will be my first one in...um...7 years (I think it's been about that long, or even longer). I have about 8 days to get prepared for it. Anyone have any tips? The only job interviews I have had were for retail and food sevice jobs and my short military enlistment and stay-at-home-mom. This job will be a little more professional (I have to hand in a resume when I walk in), so I need some tips on how to dress, how to say things, and how to get hired. I posted my resume last night on monster.com, and this place has been the first place to get back to me. Now, when I was a kid growing up, I never said I always dreamed of being a lawn care person, lol, but hey, if I gets the bills paid for now until I can get a job doing what I want to do or something better, then who can complain? It's that or LIVE IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!

This is for a job at TruGreen-ChemLawn. Here is an excerpt from the first email:

Here is an excerpt from the email confirming the interview:

Please allow about 2 hours for our meeting. I encourage you to bring a recent copy of your resume and to prepare a list of questions. We'll discuss our company history, career path outline, training program and compensation package during this session.

Now how does all that sound to you guys? Got any tips for me?

sounds like a pretty good job.

just be sure to act professional, be honest about everything and make sure to make them know how hard you work!!!!!!!
