Don't have one, but be sure you know what you are in for. These guys can demand their own tank if they deem it necessary and will punish you if you don't supply them with one but beating the heck out of any other fish along with heaters and filter.

Check out petland, they have a few they have told me are hard to get rid of since they inform them what they end up like.

I have a female 7" red devil/midas right now that I am hoping to find a special friend for so I am well aware of what these monsters bring to the table. Thanks for the heads up though.

In that case you might want a smaller male as they tend to be the more aggressive of the two when they want to mate. Get a 5" male and keep them in the tank divided until you are pretty sure they are ready.

okay, will do. thanks for the advice. i think Petworld has one, i just need to find one that is guaranteed a male. I have found that the hump in not a safe way of identification...
