I met you this weekend and made some purchases from your store. I, also, am the one who mentioned Paradise Cove. I only did this because of what I saw in there 4 months ago. Since then, I have met you and this site and started a relationship. I just wanted you to know that I am supporting you and will continue to do business at your store. The other incident happened before we were introduced and I merely meant to use it as an example of pricing. Sorry.

if i was closer i would probably only go to your store. some of the stores in des moines have websites, but nothing like a forum or anything like this to chat with other fish nerds, i really appreciate everything that goes into this. last year a group of us visited all the stores in omaha and i know i bought something there. ya it was food, gone now of course. hope to come out there one day, the next month is hard for me as my wife is having a new one, but maybe sometime after that i'll make a road trip/

I just returned home from my first visit to the store, and I just wanted to say, "I LOVE IT!" Great service (or is that because I mentioned the forum? LOL), everything was neat and organized, and the animals looked great! Keep up the good job! Now I just need to carpool with someone in my area so I can spend more Ca$h on fish-stuff and not go-juice.

You ought to love them there. As I see you're keeping unique fish particularly. Haley is great about searching out what you're looking for from her suppliers & bringing things in just for you. If you don't see what you're looking for just ask - most likely she'll be able to get it for you.

Oh darn! That's what I forgot to ask about! I have been looking for a certain kind of freshwater pipefish. I found someone selling it on another site, but they never responded to my e-mail. I'll ask her when I go back or just PM her.

Hope you get over your jet lag! I know how that is. When I moved to Germany about 4 years ago, it was early in my pregnancy. My hubsters made me stay awaks even though I wanted to curl up and sleep. There's a 7 hour time difference from Central Standard Time, and the best way to adjust to it is to stay awake when you first get there, no matter what. When we flew to Texas last year from Germany, we had to do the same thing. On top of fying from Germany to Texas, my hubby and I had been awake for about 40 some hours--at least I was. I was dragging my butt for about 3 weeks after landing. Love those international flights.

I'll have to look up the Latin for the pipefish I am really wanting. Some ifo on it: From SE Asia, 100% freshwater fish, VERY hard to find. Also, it looks alot like a streched out seahorse and is very small.
