Hi everyone,
I'm a fellow fish nut. I'm in Bellevue, NE and have big tanks and little tanks, probably like everybody else. Currently I breed albino and brown (A. Temminckii) Ancistrus pleco's. Most of my fish are soft water fishes. Here's what I keep.
Tetras:
Neons
Cardinals,
Penguins
Black Skirt
Cats and Plecs:
Cory Julii
Cory Sterbai
Cory Aggazzizi
L191 Royal
L95 Orange Cheek
L204 Flash
L66 King Tiger
Longfin and regular fin Brown ancistrus
One longfin albino ancistrus (looking for more)
Regular fin Albino
Cichlids:
Angels, three pairs and an extra in the hospital tank
a few kinds of Kribs (Albino Kribs, Pelvicachromis taeniatus 'nyete' and a new species Pelvicachromis sp blue fin which will probably be reclassified soon)
My German Blue rams died after a nasty bout of ich from what I thought was a trusted fish source (aka never again)
I also used to keep Apisto Panduro & Agazzizi but made the mistake of feeding them bloodworms... thought I was giving them a treat and found out afterwards that often bloodworms kill apistos.... mark mine down in that often category.
What else, yeah, livebearers and others:
Guppies, 3/4 blacks
Mollies, a mix of 'em. Sailfins, lyretails, and common blacks
One lonely Redtailed shark (acquired with a tank)
One large and one humongous sailfin pleco (let me know if anyone wants a large or even better the humongous sailfin (at least 13 inches--like he's gonna hold still for some measurements, when I moved him to a 55 'cause I needed the 120 for all the baby ancistrus, he sprayed water everywhere, even on the ceiling!)
I've been keeping fish for a long time, since I was a boy. Now that I retired from the Air Force and don't spend all my time on the road, I've had the time to have a little fun in the hobby.
best regards
mike

Hey Mike!
I'm the guy you've been chatting with (and outbidding! ) on ebay.
Glad you got my message & joined. I'm just west of you in Millard...and in fact grew up in Bellevue. (Go Chieftains!)
We can definately use more ultra-experienced people like you here. As you're so close, I may just have to buy a fish or two that you spawn if you need to get rid of some.
Again - welcome! Great to have you here.
