Just thought I'd share some of my my bettas with everyone. Some of these are the sellers' pics. Some of the bettas that I have are called "plakats." These are more closely related the the plakat bettas still used for fighting in Thailand. They have alot of attitude and are more colorful than their long finned relatives.

female red dragon (red with white mask) PK:

male red dragon PK:

blue mask black female PK:

Melano male PK (love this guy):

copper halfmoon (HM) female:

traditional PK male:

extended red double ray crown tail (CT) male:

blue mask female PK:

I have more of them, but no pics available.

um....i forget. let me count:

8 males and 11 females. so, 19 all together. I had more, but I recently had to put them down, and one was sucked into the filter while I was trying to find the cover for it.

I was planning to breed a few of them. I was planning to breed the red dragons together. I had actually put them in a spawn tank, but I made a few noob mistakes that resulted in a failed spawn. I also put the melano and the copper in another spawn tank, also failed. But, I am glad that spawn failed because I found out the breeding the traditional tail type (see how the red dragon male's and the melano male's tails are sort of spade shaped?) with a long fin (like the HM female) will result in veil tails (VTs), and I don't want that. So, I'll need to get a super black PK male for my copper female to get the black copper mask HMPK. (I'll get a pic.)

LOL How true!

This isn't a very good example of what I am trying to breed, but it was the closest that I could find on aquabid. I guess no one has any "good ones" for sale. This one has an ugly head and bad form:

to be honest i think you are just gonna have to keep looking untill you find the right fish/s that you want and then breed them to how you want them to look so you might have to wait a while, but if you get te right fish then it will be worth it Cool
