Nice.
I love the "other" cats. I've just been apprehensive to get any. I guess I haven't done my homework as far as who gets along with who on them.
Very neat looking, though.

well if you want an african setup, most all synodotis catfish and clown loaches along with BN plecos make great tankmates for them. there are a few others but not many you wanna house with africans.

yes they do, and they also clean up any fry that was left in the females mouth that you'd miss and she's spit in the tank.

so go on then how does the above mix ? as they are not from the same water/area/location/bio-type/P.H./hardness, sorry to ask but i think i need enlightning

Those multies sure are cute. How large do they get? Will they live with Syno. Eupterus? I have 2 Eupterus, they are funny, they dont take any bs off the africans

sorry i missed this when you first asked
synodontis multipunctatus common name cuckoo catfish/multi spot cat are capable of growing to 11" and there is no reason you should not be able to keep them in the same tank

Like clunkster, I too was wondering about keeping ancistrus, clowns and syno's with africans. Are you acclimating the ancistrus and clowns up for a while in order to keep them with the africans? How well do they get along? Have you seen any stress indications from the clowns or ancistrus?
