Anyone know if feeding BBS to fry would be okay? If not, then I need to set up a hatchery. Thanks!

carefull with the paradise fry, the BBS from what i remember may be bigger and could munch on the fry. thats like seeing a humansized lobster, you wouldn't wanna mess with them. after a few weeks i think they should be big enough to eat em.

Nope the live, hatched ones may at this stage in their life, you'll have to wait a bit until they get a little larger to feed them live

I've used BBS for fry & they love it.

If you don't want to mess with hatching and all the mess that comes with it, you may want to consider switching them to Golden Pearls after a week or so.

If you've not heard of them - they're FANTASIC! Little orange dots made from all kinds of great fresh ingredients (including BBS) that hang in the water column and 'dance' like live food. It's much cleaner & easier.

You can find them at

Make sure to buy the smallest ones for fry! I highly recommend them. In fact, I still feed them occasionally to my juvenile angels. They love it. In fact, i need to place a new order.

I've heard of those. I know of a few people who use those for betta fry. Wish I could get some locally.
