here is the rest of the fish Cool it is a L155 Ancanthicus hystrix (lyre tail pleco) yes i know its a big picture but then its a big fish Laughing Laughing Laughing

here are a few more pics of my L155 Cool



notice the pimelodus blochii underneath ? it never ceases to impress me that the pimelodus blochii will follow the L155 about in the hope that he will disturbe some food up for them Laughing


this picture shows why they have the common name of "lyre tail pleco"

this picture shows why you should not catch them by hand (like you should with other plecs when they are big enough) because if you look closely you will see all the tiny spines that these fish are covered in and beleive you me it hurts when you get a hand full of the spines as well as draws blood Twisted Evil

never tried feeding pumpkins, but i feed him cucumber, lettuce, spinach, pees, zuccinii, lancefish, prawns, crabsticks, catfish pellets and algae tablets so as you can see he gets a varied diet Cool
