Post subject: Spawning German Rams
Here are the German Rams that killed a bunch of my fish while spawning. They belong to one of our moderators & her husband now...so they have a good home away from my discus.
Here are some pics from when they were spawning in my tank...

Those are nice looking fish and those will be by next endeavor. How many should I put in a 20H? or would a 20L be better?

Wooz...so sorry. Don't know how I missed this question but I did.
As far as which tank - they're relatively small, so I don't think it'd matter much if you do a 20H or 20L.
How many will depend on who you ask. My spawning pair went berserk & killed a bunch of other fish. So I'd say two if you can sex them based on my experience.
But most others would tell you four or five juveniles. Let them grow up together & pair off. Then if you have aggression...get rid of the others & keep the pair.
Anyone else want to chime in?

20L over a 20H generally works much better when you are dealing with aggressive fish. Just my experience.
