well, it goes like this. First you have to get a retarded osmosis system and then install it as cheaply as possible in keeping with the graduate studies of cheap bastard college, with double minors--one in profound absentmindedness and the other in advanced numbskulledness.
Step one: get the retarded osmosis system installed but use cheap trash cans as resevoirs (you know the ones, plastic and flexible enough so that you can jam them in where they don't fit)
Step two: turn it on sometime during the day so you can check it in the morning.
Step three: go to work and forget to check = flood number one
Step four: improve on the system by jamming another trash can where it shouldn't fit and jerry rig an overflow to the floor drain along with a siphon from one trash can to the other
Step five: turn it on again sometime during the day so you can check it in the morning
Step six: repeat step three = flood number two
Step seven: reconfigure overflow and siphon so there can be no way the "design" can fail. Add another overflow line to the second trash can. Move water pump and water hose to the second can. Make sure both cans are full of water. This is the critical part. Casually drop the other end of the water hose on the floor instead of placing it into the second trash can.
Step eight: repeat step three = flood number three
I really am glad that Mary continues to put up with me and has stuck around for the last 25 years. Idiots need lovin' too!
regards
mike

Days like these is when Mary tends to call me the "King of Dumbassadonia" Everyone needs a title right? I wear it proudly, knowing in my heart of hearts, that only one as "talented" as I could have earned this kind of admiration and to be held in the highest regards by my loyal subjects. Not everyone is as "gifted." I might even include it on my resume...you don't think that would be too presumptuous?
