Post subject: Angel Spawn!
KissKiss girl (Haley) always said that every fish I keep spawns. That was true up to now except for angels.
My 8 year-old saw them spawning today on the heater cord. I'm going to let them try to do it themselves as I have no extra tank space. We'll see how that goes. Pretty exciting though.
Here's a pic...more pics in the Fish Pictures Section.

Oh well...
On day 3 I awoke to no eggs. They had started turning white the night before...so maybe they were all infertile. Still, the guarded, fanned & tended to them for 2 days. It's a start.

Sorry my friend, as a first attempt for the young pair, a couple of days is good. I can't remember when I've had a pair tend their very first batch of eggs.

Thanks guys. I'm sure they'll get it eventually. I'm going to step up their water changes to match the Discus water change schedule. That should help.

That's how I'm looking at it too, Mike. I'm still optimistic.
