thanks clunkster. I have 2 of them. The largest is somewhere around 4 inches, and the smallest is about 3 inches long.

Yes they do. I have seen mpp's 2 SAEs and mine are maybe 1/2 their size. I think mpp's biggest is a full grown 6 inches.

Think you will find that, that is the full adult size that mpp's has reached, so at least you have seen what they can reach size wise Cool

Yes, that's what I had foudn in my research before I bought them. Also, after I saw mpp's I realized that they are a bulky fish, and I may want to house them in a bigger tank. See, I keep realizing that I should have started with a bigger tank than the 30 gallon. Evil or Very Mad I need to start saving for a 75 or 125 gallon.

The biggest problem with fish keeping is YOU never have a tank big enough for what you want hate-megaball A lot of people have asked me what size tank should they get, i have allways replied the the biggest you can afford, but it still wont be big enough Trilly-77-24

LOL You got that right!

*Now I remember why the SAE pics are so grainy: I had to take them from my couch because they would hide when I approached the tank with the camera.
