All the extra upkeep & water testing is completely & totally worth it. I'll talk more about them in the Discus section.

Wow those are pretty fish. Where do you get them? No one here sells them.

And - are they really THAT sensitive? I would love to have some some day but for what they cost I don't want to kill them. Are they really hard to care for?

they also require higher temps (85°+) than a lot of fish as well as plants, although the aquarist that can pull off a nice planted discus tank is to be commended because that's the best way to show them off IMHO.
