A few shots of my RCS. I am still messing around with settings on my camera, and these pics don't show how red they really are. Some of them, if you look at their backs, you'll see a yellow color. Those are what's called "saddles", which are eggs in their ovaries.

A young female that hasn't gotten her full color:

A size comparison to one of my Singapore shrimp:

Nice ARB:

I had red cherries when I had a community tank - very cool little shrimp- and great algae eaters!

However - very expensive fish food if you put them in the wrong tank.

Thanks Gary! I am trying to get some more posted tonight that are more recent. I am agree with you that they become gourmet food in the wrong tank. I am working on getting a 10 gallon set up for them. I have 7 females carring fertile eggs, so I want to get them moved out of the 30 gallon before the eggs hatch. The fish that I have in there now would eat the shrimplets. Shocked

Your last picture, that RCS has the big white blob on the back. I have one like that and thought it was some parasite or something. Any ideas or is it normal?

Nope. Not a parasite. That's the ovaries full of eggs that I mentioned. The color may look a little off in the pic.

LOL I tried several times throughout the day to get the pics off of the camera. I guess I need to step up the pace on getting all of the tanks covered. Embarassed I haven't heard back from the person on the 5g. Evil or Very Mad

Here are a few more pics that I took less than a week ago. I think I've just about gotten the settings right with these pics:

A shrimp running across the ABN's head

This is my most adult and mature RCS female poking out of the Weeping moss:

Duh I guess I could have read the first post!

Nice pictures! I hardly ever see mine, they hide in the back of the tank under some driftwood. No way am I getting a picture from there.
