I would have thought the flower pot would have sufficed, as its nearly the same as slate but a lot depends on the fish and where they decide to lay

The problem is that the fish are too big to fit in my tiny flower pot..... i broke it so they can use it, but i worry they might cut or scrap themselves on the edges. I might add some slate.
