Its a hybrid cat, Phractocephalus sp. hybrid. A redtail cat crossed with a tiger shovelnose. They were produced as feeder fish, but have become popular with aquarists and are now being kept in the home aquarium.

I can hardly see this photos on this damn work monitor!!! I was going to say that the underbelly part that I could see looked close to a Synodontis type, but I think I see some other parts of the photo that would lead me to believe he is too big for that.
I'll try and check at home tonight when I can actually see the pics.
