Post subject: Angel Babies - 20 Days After Spawn
Some Angelfish pics from the spawn 20 days ago I hatched artificially. They don't quite look like Angelfish yet...
And a few closeups...
As always - more to come.

Great pics, Gary! You're right, they don't look like angels. To me, they look like some weird tetra...

Yeah...they are weird looking. I heard a internet radio show once where they interviewed a longtime Angel breeder.
He said that for the first few weeks, they resemble baby convicts...then all of a sudden they take the angelfish shape.
Hope so 'cause they're fugly little buggers right now.

Yep.
And if you scroll u - the 3rd one from the bottom is starting to get elongated fins. I've noticed that on some of the bigger fry.
Getting exciting.
By the way - mom & dad are still tending to the spawn they hatched after this spawn.
