Ok...

Between the warm water, the lower light & the plecos, I'm having a very hard time keeping larger plants alive.

Anyone know where I can find some TALL (24" to 30") artificial plants that don't look crappy?

I hate to go that way, but I might have to.

You may have to look around town or online for them, or you could check out what craft stores have available. As long as there are no wires in the stems or are not scented, you can use them in the tank.

Also, I don't know if you know, but check out

Both sites/forums have a dictionary of sorts for plants. plantgeek is a bit more detailed, but they'll tell you what plants can handle high temps.

During the summer my tank wouldn't go below 84 degrees and my jungle val was thriving. It was doing fine in the shade too. That's about it though.

Hey Gary,
since you're coming over anyway, I'll pull out the plastic and you can sort through it to see if there's something you can use. There are some tall ones in the lot.
