Some of them died from my lack of knowledge. Too many fish in a tank all at once and the ammonia spiked. Others just weren't destined to live no thanks to the crappy lfs I used to visit. The others I have no clue why they died. I treated them with everything I could think of and they still went.

Bummer.

I hate losing fish. I get to be a big baby about the whole thing. Great pics though.

Yep. Here's mine...

AWESOME fish! Buy it if you still can. They're gorgeous - and if it's the same species as mine it can get to 7"

This is L81. Distinguishable by the smaller and abundant spots. They are usually very dark or black. There is 3 different L#s associated with the glod nuggets- L81, L18 and L177. L81: lots of small spots. L18: bigger spots and fewer of them. L177: bigger spots than L18 and even less of them than L18. L81 is one of the hardest species to keep alive. They usually live 2 weeks and then they die.

What species of Farlowella is in the last pic? It's too blurry for me to see it. I have a Farlowella acus.
