Post subject: Getting a 55 gallon SW Setup
My friend is giving me her setup.
I am currently attempting to find a place in my apartment for it...
...More to come later.

If you can't find any room at your place you know that I have more than enough room for another tank

Things that you defiantely want to be certain on though is if you move...I wouldn't say it'll be hard to transport, but the possibility of losing fish do to moving stress increases with salt water. Also, what kind of set up is it? Sump system? Standard filtrations? If it is a sump, make sure you have it setup in case of a power outage it doesn't resyphon back into the sump and flood. I'm sure you're manager wouldn't be too happy with you . In any case, good luck! Everyone loves inheriting salt setups !

I ended up selling the tank and stand because my friend got impatient and didn't let me finish emptying the substrate and water. When we were carrying it down the stairs it sprung a leak. I sold the tank and stand, brought the fish, snails, and hermit crabs to the store, tossed out the substrate, the LR is stacked in a 10 gallon tank with 2 powerheads, and a light on the tank. I will be selling the LR.
She had a Magnum 350 on the tank. That was cleaned and scrubbed with hot water, distilled white vinegar, and loads of elbow grease. All of the other equipment that I kept was cleaned the same way.
I've scrapped setting up a SW tank for now.
