sorry but im terrible at taking photos. i was really lucky to get the rasboras as they are rarely seen in shops. ive got the usual harlequins, but recently on a rare visit to a pets at home (not the place i would normally go to for fish) i spotted a tank of mixed rasboras. the young girl assistant said it came in as a chancer. in other words the manager saw assorted rasboras and took a chance on it. in the tank were red lines, emerald eyes and another i later found out were rare blue lines. i bought the only five reds and only five emeralds in the tank. however when i got home i realised the emerald eyes were tiny not much bigger than fry and have since lost the three smallest. i didnt know what the others were and have only later found out they were blue lines (einthovenii). im glad i didnt buy them as they are too big for my tank anyway. it just shows though you cannnot count out ANY shop when it comes to looking for fish. in the same shop in another tank marked managers specials ( where they put all the left over fish each week) were some rainbow fish. again rather small but at 50p!!! each i took the chance and have since found out they are yellow featherfins.
