Well, I didn't want to salt the wounds of not being able to attend. But if you insist, I can oblige!
I brought 2 dozen of my ABN's to sell. Sold them all at auction. Proceeds were split 70/30 with MCA.

Using those proceeds and an additional 13 buckeroos, this is what I came home with.

One dozen of these Julidochromis Marlieri

ARB,
They went into the tank with the Syn Petricola in it. I'm going to set up a 55 especially for them. I had Julidochromis Ornatus years and years ago (1987-1989) and had the Neolamprologus (then just lamprologus) Brichardi in with them. They're both Tanganyikan small cichlids, love rock work and inhabit slightly different levels of the lake. The Julies will be in the rockwork and the Daffy's will be mid-tank, close enough to dart away to the rocks for shelter. I'll let you know when the tank is ready for your inspection LOL.

P.S. I still gotta get over and see your tanks sometime. It's hard to believe I haven't yet.

Thanks for the info! I have a 30 gallon long that's still sitting empty. My plans have changed for it for now. How big do they get? Would they do well in the 30? I may actually do a cichlid tank.

a 30 would be just fine for the Neolamprologus Pulcher sp Daffy as they stay relatively small, the largest ones getting close to 5 inches. The ones I had in the past (lamprologus brichardi) topped out at about 4 inches and they were housed in a 55. The Julies don't get that big either, maxing out at about 4 inches, usually a little less. These guys are still small but I look forward to growing them up! The 55 for them is going to be my evening and weekend project.

A 30 is a good starter cichlid tank. I had no plans to get anything really other than a few Tawian Reef Juvies.

only plecos that were there were my abns, long fin browns, L260 queen arabesque, L091 Three Beacon, L333 Yellow Tiger, L027 Royal, L47 Mango, Parancistrus aurantiacus Rubber pleco (not sure of the L-number), L075 Para. Most of the fancies went for 25-30 bucks each, the abns went for about 15 bucks a bag and the LFBNs went for 11-12 bucks a bag. Bn bags mostly had 6 fish in them. One of my bags had 7 since there were two smaller guys in there at only about 1 1/2 inches. I checked every bag looking for the L183's, that would have been sweet.

I bought 18 LFBNs. They're still very small, just over an inch.
