Post subject: SAE died
I found my largest SAE this morning down by the coffee table in the snooker room, more than 12 feet away from the 125 where he used to live. What a shame. I think I'm going to have to get rid of those albino kribs...they're driving everybody else nuts in that tank.

Sorry to hear. That's a real bummer.
On a side note, I'll take the kribs. Never seen them around here.

I just picked up 2 tiny SAE last night. I am planning on not having a canopy on the tank they are going in, I hope they all don't jump out.
I may have to go back and get some more, they are attacking my annoying hair algae like crazy and they were only $1.99.
Aw hell, that sucks mpp. I really liked that guy. RIP SAE. =(
argnars, I would keep a cover on the tank of some kind. You may want to look into that light diffusor grating. mpp knows what I am talking about. Stuart down in Crete uses them over all of his tanks, and he says he doesn't lose any light going into the tank.

Those were at Pet World. They had a few dozen so they are probably still there. I am probably swinging by to grab some plants from them tomorrow morning and will look again.
That lighting stuff I have seen referenced as egg crate, I will have to check that out. It might be my solution to the torpedo barb jumping thing too.
