Hi all. Thanks for the warm welcome!! I hail from Algoma, WI--on the sunny but often chilly shores of Lake Michigan. My town is often referred to as "The little refrigerator!!". So, when the likes of Green Bay are sweltering at 98 we are often a comfortable, cool 75. It does have its' drawbacks as you can imagine...... Wink

If I get the time, I would like to post a picture of my tank as requested. Are there directions written down somewhere on the site to help me out? Thanks in advance!

Get yourself an account at photobucket (it's free).

. Then take a digital pic of your tank and upload it to your account at photobucket. Once it's there, you can copy the image and link it here using the "img" tag.
hope this helps....

p.s. I used to fish for salmon at Algoma although I can't recall the name of the river. I just remember it being about an hour and a half drive and to be there at sun-up meant getting up pretty darn early.
good luck
mike

How to Host Images

I recommend Image Shack. They keep your images private.

Goto

Register or Login on forum!

Enter your e-mail address, twice. Submit.

You will received a rather long registration code / link.
Everytime you access Image Shack, you must use this link. It will log you straight into your account.

I recommend making this link a short-cut.

Your first use of this link, will activate your account.

To Upload Images

When you first follow your link to Image Shack, you’ll be placed on the Upload page.

Subsequent visits to Image Shack, will place you on the Images page. In which case, click on Upload Images, immediately above your image Thumbnails.

Click on the Browse button.
Navigate your Hard Drive to the Image file in the normal windows manner.
Click on Open.
Click on Host It!

An intermediate Code page will appear. You may use these forum codes here, once you’re familiar with them.

To upload further images at this time, click on Upload, in the upper left corner, near the Frog.

To view your Images, and their forum codes, click on My Images, in the upper right hand corner.

To View Images, and Select Forum Code.

Clicking on My Images, places you on the Images page.

The image thumbnails are display down the left. The image forum Codes are listed down the right, 6 for each image. If an image is under a certain size, the actual image will not be shown. But clicking on any thumbnail, will display the full and correct image.

Images are displayed, in reverse chronological sequence. That is, your last image added, is at the top of the list.

The code you will use the most often, is the first line, labelled ‘forums’. Just cut & paste this straight into a Post, to display the image.

The 2nd line, and 6th line, are used to embed images into Forum Descriptions, changing Forum Logo’s, and such, by the forum Administrator. And it is assumed that if you’re doing that, then it is not Necessary to explain it here.

To Logout.

Click on Logout, in the extreme upper right hand of the page.
