. I use K2SO4 for my K and there is some going in when I dose KNO3 and KH2PO4. I also use the CSM+B from here. It was $20 for it all, enough to last me at least a year.

To fertilize a tank you need potassium, phosphate, and nitrate, plus trace elements.
You can usually get nitrate and some phosphate from fish poo so even a little bit of potassium will help. A bottle of something like Flourish potassium will run you $8 for a couple month supply or you can get 1lb of K2SO4 for $4 which will last you years.
