How is the eel doing? How long have you had the fire eel? I don't always remember you having one. What do you feed'em? Give some info on the big guy. Smile I LOVE MY FIRE EEL!! Hi parrotlover77 i got the eel at the begining of april, was a case of i went on a buying trip down the motorway, and when i saw it i thought yes, well marked and colourfull, unlike some of the others i have seen for sale, i have been after a good specimin for ages just had not found a good one till then, this one is about 12" now and is fed on bloodworm, lancefish and catfish pellets have not got him/her to feed from the hand yet but will keep trying.

Your eel looks very happy. Is that driftwood his home, or was it just chilling there for a minute?
