Hello everyone! I am new here and just recently purchased a tank from Mike. I am looking for either ram as stated above, I would like to have a pair in my 20 long tank.

Either way, does anyone know of any that I can purchase in the Omaha area? I found a few in some local pet stores, but I would rather get some from a person who raised them as they are probably more healthy and from a better line!

I don't know exactly how many to start with, but my tank is a 20 long (30 inches length etc). I welcome any help!

i haven't heard of a ram breeder in omaha....so i think you are just going to have to buy from the store, but thats ok, they aren't as fragile as you might have heard, remember these are cichlids!

I know a breeder not too far away. It's just a matter of when his last spawn was. Give me a week or so & I'll check.

Sadly (kind of) I have decided to go with Juli Malieri in my 20 long set up - I currently have 3 in there and all is fine so far.

I might pursue rams at a later time, but for now, unless I can add more to my tank, I am thinking a species specific tank.
