30 gallon community tank.

55 gallon African tank.

20 gallon coldwater tank.

10 gallon Convict tank. you can see the babies in the pot there Smile

10 gallon Jack tank. It's an ugly set up, I know, but I'm HOPEFULLY going to move the jack and convicts into a 30 gallon tank, which will hopefully be themed/designed/whatever like the convict tank.

After looking at these pictures I realize I need to clean a little more roughly when I clean.

Those are nice looking tanks. You can make a really cheap black background using the black plastic sheeting found at Menards. Or if you stop by sometime, I can give you some of my leftovers.

I hope they get that big! Not yet though... I wanna set up a koi pond, and that'd be sweet to have some fish already in there... Smile

In other news I did... probably a 95% water change on the african tank, because I was sick of it being unlevel... so it's reorganized, and everyone's happy in there again.

I forgot pictures of my bettas also, but those tanks aren't anything special. Razz

oops

mpp, sorry, I completely blanked your post... Embarassed that's my memory for ya...

Anyway, I've always kind of liked the clear background, but i've been leaning more and more towards the solid colored background. I've just been worried about either a) it would look crappy, or b) I'd have to spray paint it, and if the front got scratched I'd be screwed... etc...

But if you say it works well, I'll give it a shot Smile

IMO, any tank looks SOOOOO much better with a sold black background. All of my tanks, except for my arcylic tank, are painted black on the back.

Shocked Why would you change that amount of water at any one time ?

I had to move the tank, and it's funnier to call it a water change.

I did lose one fish in the act though... I put them in a bucket during it, and then when I put them back in, and filled it up, he was gone. Literally. I have no idea where he went. Sad

Sorry if i came over wrong (you will come too understand me eventually, ask Gary and the rest of the crew) Are you sure you have lost one or are they hiding ? Mind you if you have only lost one durring a tank change over thats not a bad result.

? I dunno what that means. lol.

Anyway, I suppose only losing one is pretty good, but I'm used to not losing any. Well, because of/during a water change at least, knock on wood. so it seems pretty odd to me... Very Happy just lucky I guess.

Also, I got two little oscars to add to my community tank. I have a larger goal for them, but the tank's not set up yet, and so far, they're small enough that they can live with my neons, and the angelfish regulates everything still... Smile I rearranged that one too, I'll see if I can get some new pictures sooner or later to post.

mpp, you said you had some of those black plastic sheets left over? any chance I could grab those from you sometime? (why are there two devil faces, but no angel face?)
