Here are some pics of my yellowtail cat, Phractocephalus hemiolopterus (red tail cat) x Pseudopplatystoma fasciatum (tiger shovel nose cat)





This fish has got a very big mouth and has developed a liking for live food Evil or Very Mad

Great looking cat clunk. I've done some reading on your cat and the concensus is that this hybrid will be bigger than either parent. I love the big cats, but I won't have any of the 3 (tiger shovelnose, redtail or yellowtail) until I can get a bigger house that I can build an indoor pond in.

Yes i know, was gutted when they went took me ages to find a decent schooling fish that i thought was big and quick enough hate-wall How wrong was i Embarassed

No mate i did;nt even witness them being eaten, just noticed a very happy looking fish with a rather large belly

I thought you put them in there to be eaten. My mistake. Try pacus if you want a schooling fish that will be too big to eat.

Can see this fish either being in a species only tank or Evil or Very Mad

No the yellowtail, because if it reaches the size some think then nothing will be safe with a mouth that size Twisted Evil
