So are you not tempted to offer the common a good home ? Makes me laugh they call them commons, but i dont know if it is the same on your side of the pond, but you do not often see them here.

I can't offer it a comfortable home it's longer than my tank is wide. I also want to save the room for more exotic plecs like my rhino or a big royal, you get the point. It is definately a common here. I think we have 3 or 4 in the same tank as the one in the pic and there's 3 more tanks full of babies.

Must just be on this side of the pond then. Yes i do know what you mean by waiting for the right fish too come along, sometimes you just gotta be strong and resist from temptation either that or just buy another tank
