I'm so psyched!

Those of you who know me know I have a beautiful 150 show tank & a pretty nice setup overall. But I have pretty much bought all of my equipment second hand from day one. I'm not complaining - it's great stuff, but I've had to pinch pennies to get it.

Anyway - because of that, I've been running four seperate filters on the 150 - two Magnum 350's, an Emperor 400, and a Whisper 60. It works great, but I have four intakes showing and it makes for more maintenance to be sure.

So...my fish-dork fantasy was to get myself a Fluval FX5 rated for up to a 400 gallon tank/925 GPH. But they retail at $299.

Anyway...I found one on ebay brand new for $180 delivered!!!

Hope that doesn't sound weird...but next to my Whisper 60, a few heaters and my 55g tank - this will be my first new piece of aquarium equipment so I can't wait!

I'm reading the documentation online as we speak. (I know - what a dork)

LOL Then you'd be doing over 100 MPH on the highway, slip on ice, crash into a frozen body of water, and then die. I don't think a filter it worth risking your life over. Just put on Depends (those are adult diapers for you members that live outside of the US) to keep from peeing your pants while you wait on it, Gary. Depends are more replaceable than your life.

Well - it's on a truck somewhere between Council Bluffs and my house...out for delivery. And I'm stuck at work.

So unless it's super easy to set up, you won't be hearing from me tonight. Very Happy

If it is super easy, I'll post a butt-load of pics.
