really makes a difference I think. I used black plastic sheeting and taped it to the back. And the plants have grown a bit too since last pic.

Looks nicer IMO. Clean up the back of the tank with all the cords and such.

Hornwort is gone now but here's the tank about one month later and I've had to trip some of the plants a couple times already.

Looking good, Mike!

Funky: 260W/90 gallons = 2.8 wpg (Watts per gallon). My 30 gallon long has more light than that: 96W/30 gallons = 3.2 Wpg. Mike's tank is considered a medium light tank, where as mine is considered a high light tank.

I have a single 54w T5 on my 75 gallon and it's alot of light.

T5s give out more light than T8s
