I have 2 oscars, a jack and a pink convict that i need to get rid of before april. I'm moving into ARB's old place (not the exact same one, but same complex thing) and I'm pretty sure there's not gonna be enough room for them with my other tanks, and they're the ones i'm least attatched to.
It's still hard though
I may have a tank to sell with it, but that's not 100% sure yet...
Dude. That apartment complex sucks butt. If you want to know why, we'll chat further.

the biggest oscar is probably 5", 2nd is 3 1/2" - 4", the pink convict (f) is 2", and I found one of the baby convicts had made it, and it's about 3/4 - 1" (dunno if it's male of female. so far looks like a male though...), then the jack is about 3"...
The tank is a 30g, and has an aqua clear.... 50? an ugf and a stealth heater. it's got a hideous red, black, and white gravel, and an air pump also.... It was free with my 55g but didn't use it for that... I honestly don't know if i'll be selling it, but I was just kinda seeing if anyone was interested.

Let me know what you want for the 30 and the gear. I've got a 30 stand with one cruddy 30 on top and a 20L underneath.

the thing is I have no idea how much to even start at for asking... I haven't ever really sold... anything... (sans video games, but I get ripped off there for sure cause gamestop and gamers need to make $ too...) so usually I say... "make an offer..." and then usually settle for what I'm offered, not knowing if it's a good deal or not.
Is there some sort of guide I can go by to help me out with that?

the most I'll do for a 30 is a buck a gallon since Petco has the new tanks on sale once a year at the same price, a buck a gallon (patience is a virtue) and the buck a gallon kinda depends on what comes with it and if the other items are in good working order. For a used tank without anything else, it doesn't make sense for me to pay that much and I'll usually offer about 50 cents a gallon.

*nod* that's where I got this tank.
anyway, it's got a UGF (i dunno if you like 'em or hate 'em, but I like 'em, so if you don't want it, I'll keep it ) and air pump, a stealth heater, and an aqua clear... 50? I think... then of course gravel, and plants, and driftwood...
the gravel's hideous though, so you'll DEFINATELY want to change it

Hi Mack
I'll go 30 for the setup but without the UGF or gravel. You might be able to get more for it on craigslist though, in case you want to try it. Start off at 100 and list OBO and include some picures.

Sounds great Mack, Saturday is pretty busy but Sunday would work for me. Or maybe tomorrow night after I get off work. I have a meeting until about 5:30PM and then I'll be home. 292-0900
