My partners pet jardini, this guy is an Australian native around 35cm. These fish are known to jump out of tanks so we have heavy glass on the top and we are always careful not to spook him when cleaning the tank.
He eats a home made brew of fish, peas, garlic etc or will take white bait straight from your hand.

Pretty cool. They can be true Aceholes a lot of the time though. I take it he doesn't have any tankmates.

He was in a tank with some plecos ,we had a 6ft tank bottom crack so he is currently in a 4ft by himself while we are waiting on a new tank .
Not really sure what to put with him, I dont ever see him attack other fish but have looked in the tank in the morning to see fish with a lot of fin and scale damage so dont really want to risk it.

Well if you were to want to try it, it would have been best to grow him out with some very tough fish. Its completely hit and miss and there is an incredibly minute chance that the jar would accept tankmates. They are one of the most aggressive fish i know.
