I was just recently at Pet World and they had a pretty decent selection of cichlids actually.
They had some really nice Geophagus Tapajos "Red Heads".
Definitely not fish you find in a store very often.
aquapets had a couple species of geophagus in. I think one of them might have been tapajos. They also had a couple species of cichlid that i've never seen so i'm assuming they were semi-rare.
Wish i would have brought some more money only wound up with a crenicichla sveni and an albino polypterus senegal. Wanted to grab some albino and regular kribs, one of their Herichthys cyanoguttatus (pure cyano texas cichlid) and halfway debated starting up a community tank for glass catfish, glass indianfish and rummynose tetras. In fact i might start up a planted 29 once i find a place for my salvini that is beautifull but mean as snot.
