I don't have as interesting tanks as you guys, and my fish selection is not extravagent as yours, but here are my 3 tanks, and what is stocked in each. I actually have to clean my tanks tomorrow, especially the parrot tank, so forgive me for the messy tanks.


2 Blood parrots
1 green severum
1 syndontis Eurterus catfish
1 fire eel (about 10 inches), he is peaking out of the orange decoration in the middle
1 male brustle nose pleco


My boyfriends tank:
1 long tail albino oscar with black fins, only a few months old
1 electric blue jack dempsey, only a few months old
1 juvenille parrot
1 large armored catfish
1 female brustle nosed pleco


My pride and joy tank, just restocked and redone:
1 juvenille red terror
2 juvenille red texas's (male and female)
1 juvenille green terror
2 brustle nose plecos, male and female
1 royal pleco
1 vampire pleco

I agree with you - that third one is looking pretty cool.

You are using Rena Filstar XP filters on all of those! Those filters are the best bang for the buck...I love them!


Nice tanks.

Its embarrassing, but i just got the canister filters for all the tanks. Slow learner. But the large 120 gallon has two canister filters, a rena and a magnum. Two aere always better than one.

You can get a deal from Petsmart, if you don't know by now. If you go on their website, print out their prices, and go to the store, they will price match their website prices. Their canister filters are 50% cheaper on their website, literally!!! I got both for under $200. Great trick with Petsmart.
