Post subject: To Trade or Sell at the July 23rd Meeting
I've been doing some digging, and I'm not quite finished.
Here's what I have to trade or sell at the next meeting:
-I'll be taking commissions for fish art. I can do charcoal, pencil, ink, colored pencil, water color, or oil paintings. I'll either work for trade or you can buy. Pricings will be based on size of commission.
-used Fluval 303. I really don't have the patience for putting this thing together.
-Vallisneria spiralis. It's just starting to take over my 30 long.
-an Amazon sword; doesn't fit in with my SE Asian tanks or bowls.
-a whole lotta insulated shipping boxes.
I may add some more items later. Let me know what you want me to bring to the meeting. I'll bring a sketch book with me if anyone is interested in commissions.

I am thinking about keeping the Fluval. mpp showed me how to work the thing.
I have some apple snails to rehome: 2 jade, 1 bronze, and 1 yellow. They will come with a snail food recipe.
I may have some young red cherry shrimp ready. They haven't colored-up yet.

I do have about 120 pounds of large river rock type gravel. A few tank backgrounds that I had forgotten about

Mike:
What type of backgrounds, how big & what would you want for them? (Curiosity more than pressing need - but I will be getting a 100+ soon)

Here's 1 of them. Both 2 sided.
I don't have the second pic by itself just while on tank, but here it is

Mike,
how tall are those backgrounds? Would they work on the 180?

They maybe a bit short
All-glass says tank dimensions are as follows
125 is 22" tall
180 is 24" tall
So depending on how much gravel/substrate you have you could move it up about an inch or so to help out
Let me know what you think

I'll try one of them. If it doesn't work out, I'll move it down to the 125 once I get everything reorganized down in the fish room. Never enough time in the day it seems sometimes!

Hmm...
What are they made of - and are all three "in tank" backgrounds?

Gary,
they look pretty typical plastic backgrounds. I usually tape them to the backs of my tanks

They are plastic I believe. I have 2 only. Both taped on the outside of the tanks

-Shipping boxes are gone.
-Amazon sword is gone.
-V. spirallis may or may not be gone--depending on what I can get out of the tank with the new fry in it.
-Fluval is staying with me.
-I can still take art commissions.
I'll be getting my hands in the red cherry shrimp tank tomorrow, so check back tomorrow to see if I have any ready to go, for those who may want them.
