Nice stand. Anymore with a tank larger than about 75 or 90, I think DIY is really the smartest way to go.
Not only is it TONS cheaper but I don't know how I trust the strength of a commercial stand holding over a thousand pounds of water. If you DIY you can reinforce the hell out of it yourself & sleep better.
BTW...
Shrink those photos down! Not that anyone minds big ones, but they do get hard to see. Let me know if you need some free photo editing software - I can point you to some nice freeware.

Yeah, I'd say the pics are huge
I use prefab or prebuilt stands. I've had no problem with any of them
I know thw 240 is built strong. It's holding 250 pounds of sand, 300 pounds of rock and a couple gallons of water
It's completly enclosed for added strength. With (2) slide out doors for inside access

great, thanks for sharing. i've built a stand for my lil tanks, biggest would be 30 gallons. maybe i should venture out to building a big one .
