Post subject: Well, the tile's down
in the fishroom. Now I need to finish grouting and sealing it up, move all the tanks back in (aka undemolish my basement) and reorganize. Maybe in a month, I may be able to host a get together if folks would like. Grouting should be done by tonight and then I hope to be able to seal the floor this weekend.
So what do you guys think about a end of September get together?
Sorry to everyone not in the local area, I wish I was rich enough to send all of you airfare tickets.

Not quite before and after pictures... more like mid-project.
The Fish Room
and the snooker room--chaos reigns!

It's been a pretty big project. Had to remove the carpet and pad, then bleach the floor as a precaution. Moving the tanks was a joy (not). I ended up taking several 29's down as well as the 65. Just didn't have enough room in the snooker room to keep them all set up and still be able to walk. It's been keeping me very busy for the last few weeks. I haven't had to do it all by myself though, my son-in-law has been helping me a lot. I can still move the tanks up to 65 by myself but that 125 was a right bear to move. I'm so not in my 30's anymore!
anyway, I'll keep plugging away and am looking forward to having some fish folks over in a month or so.
regards
mike

Tiling - been there. We did a bunch of our house in it (Afroman too).
Simple but labor-intensive work, huh? Looking good.
September would be fine with me as well - depending on my travel schedule. Hollar when you have a tenative date.
How's the room coming along, mpp? Still need me to help move tanks?

My son-in-law and I are moving the bigger tanks tomorrow. Getting closer to being done. Now, I need to install the air and get that rigged. I bought a pump that'll run 20 tanks. I've just never installed one of those before. I didn't make my end-of-September goal for a swap at my place. Hopefully soon.
best regards
