Tell me what you know about R/O filters. I am looking to buy one but there are so many types. I will only need to make enough r/o for top off and pwc's for a 55gallon tank.
Thanks!

I bought mine off of eBay. I'd recommend a 100gpd for the value proposition. Larger and the cost per gallon goes up, smaller and the cost also goes up. The larger membranes last longer than the small membranes because of the increased surface area and again there are some cost savings for replacement parts due to the popularity of the 100gpd units. Here's a unit very similar to mine listed on eBay.

This one is a little better than mine because of the clear housing. I have to guestimate when the filters need backflushing or replacing.

I also got one off of Ebay that looks pretty much the same. I got a 4 gallon tank to go with mine since thats about all the water I need at one time right now.

That one does look pretty sound. Honestly when it comes to brands and which one is better than the other I'm not the best person to ask.
