Post subject: I Need A Guinea Pig!
I need someone to help me out. I made a batch of homemade fish food, which are large, chunky, flakes. They're specifically for shrimp and snails, but apparently all my other fish love them, too. So, if you decide to sign up for a free* batch, I need you to give me feedback on which of you tank inhabitants ate the flakes, what the food did to your water (i.e. did it make it cloudy), if you saw any improvement in your whatever-ate-the-food, and your general observations.
Please PM me if you are interested. I am offering this to everyone here first. I'd like to not list the ingredients. I'll only tell people who sign up what's in the flakes.
*If you are not local, I have to ask that you pay shipping, which shouldn't be more than $2 max (domestically).

I thought about you when I listed it. I don't know if I could send it overseas. Let me check the mail system, and see if I can. I should be able to since it's dry, and it would be like sending cookies through the mail. I'll wait to get feedback from Mike on the food, and then I'll make another batch and send you a PM, if you are interested.
So far, in my tanks that are eating the food are Betta splendens, Betta sp. 'Mahachai', SAEs, ABNs, harlequin rasboras, RCS, Singapore shirmp, snowball shrimp, otos, and my one wild type guppy. The ABNs attack it, and when you drop it in, you can see them start to go nuts once it hits the water. When it sinks, they're the first ones to it.

I think it would be in my best interest to give this a try ARB! If you don't mind that is. And if it helps to shave my costs for feeding this herd of BN, ABN, and LFBN... that would be so much better!

I'll split the batch between you and Mike. Let me know when you can pick it up. I'm without a vehicle. The hubby has training and work at ungodly hours until Monday.
